Origin Story

A Cut Above Landscaping was just a thought at one point, now we are offering business to 50+ customers in the Beckley WV area. Our business first started in 2023 when the Owner – Connor Morehead, a former Shady Spring High School student, decided to cancel his career goals in college and automatically start working after he graduated in 2024. We started with a small mowing setup and with only 5 or 10 customers. There were even times that it got hard for Connor, slower days and lowered pay. He even went in dept to keep this business going not only for himself but to help out with family expenditures as well. But one thing is he never gave up! We cannot thank our customers enough for the support and outreach we’ve had while doing business. Moral of this story, if you have a vision in life don’t ever give up.
